Zenyatta:
It hadn’t been a great idea to try to escape at night, but you were desperate at this point. A monk had come by to bring your food around, your original captor being busy taking care of something across the building so you took the chance to dash past the Omnic. You hadn’t realized that they didn’t use many lights here, and the city was so far away that you couldn’t even see the glow of it from this distance. It was so dark.
Panic settled in your stomach as you made your way through the long halls, biting back whimpers when you’d have to duck into a dark room to hide from anyone who might be looking for you. It was hard to control your breathing because of how freaked out you were, you couldn’t even find your way outside with how dark it was.
That’s when you saw the faint glow of a light around a corner, biting back a relieved sob as your ran towards it. It must’ve been a lamp to light up the entrance of this place, a beacon of hope for you. As soon as you did turn the corner, you felt your blood run cold.
“There you are, I was so worried about you wandering around in the dark.”
Lucio:
You knew that he liked this, making you terrified enough to want to run back into his arms. He’d been gone all day, working on something for Overwatch, so you had gotten antsy and started trying to pick the lock on the door. After about two hours, you had finally managed to undo it and get the barrier that had been keeping you inside for so long. There had been a swell of joy and you had even started crying as you knelt in the doorway.
In your moment of joy, you almost didn’t hear the sound of his footsteps drawing near. You almost screamed as you ran down the other way, trying to find your way through the massive home he had kept you inside for so long. What made it worse was that you could hear him yelling for you, knowing he would catch up to you in any second if you didn’t stay focused on the task at hand. The more you ran, the less you could hear Lucio. It should have been a good thing, but you were anxious about whether or not he was just keeping himself quiet to trick you about the distance.
And then, everything went black. A loud scream left your lips as you stumbled over your own feet, almost knocking into a wall from the sudden lack of vision. You slowed yourself down, not wanting to ram into a wall or piece of furniture and end up injuring yourself. There was no sound, making the situation even worse, and you made sure to slide your feet out in front of you in case you found a staircase.
Before you could, you swore you saw flashes of green somewhere in the corner of your eye. Your hands were out in front of you, ready to catch yourself if you fell or keep you from slapping your forehead against a wall, and after a handful of minutes you felt them come in contact with something firm and warm.
“Boo.”
